Or at least, the pre-season dryland workouts have begun. Anyone interested in dryland workouts during the month of April is invited to join us at the John Rose Oval at 5:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It doesn’t matter whether you’re an experienced skater, a novice, or whether you’ve never skated, you’re welcome to join in the off-skates workout fun. We do a variety of skating-simulation exercises designed to work on the muscles and technique you’ll need on the ice, as well as some core work because, let’s face it, that stuff is no fun to do and it’s harder to bail on it when you’ve go a group of people doing it with you.
